The first pain point in solar customer acquisition process is collecting bill history from the prospective customer. Collecting utility bill history is a manual process with the utility and can take up to three weeks. We are automating this process by building API adapters with each utility so solar sales people can have access to a customer's bill history in under 10 minutes.
UtilityAPI collects historical data, but can also monitor usage on an ongoing basis so solar companies are able to tell their customers how much money they're saving.
Twelve companies already have accounts with us and four companies have added users and made business decision based on the data we provided to them. We will continue to listen to our customers and build our product our for meet their needs.
